J. COREY SILVERMAN

Corey Silverman is the owner of The Silverman Law Firm – a boutique Florida law firm located in Clearwater, Florida.  He is a native of the Tampa Bay area, born and raised in Dunedin, Florida.

Corey attended the University of Central Florida (UCF) in Orlando, Florida, where he studied film production and screenwriting at the university’s film school.  Towards the end of undergraduate studies at UCF, he also became interested in the study of law and decided to minor in Legal Studies.

Although film remained (and still remains to this day) a passion of his, after graduating from UCF, Corey began studying law at Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg, Florida.

After graduating from law school, and seeing what the legal profession had to offer, Corey decided to pursue an advanced law degree (called a Master of Laws – or LL.M.) in Taxation.  He studied at, and received his graduate tax law degree from, the Graduate Tax Program at the University of Florida Levin College of Law.  It was during this time that Corey honed-in on the areas of law he wanted to practice…and these are the same areas of law that he continues to practice to this day at The Silverman Law Firm.

What sets Corey apart is his detailed approach to each case, timely and frequent client communication, and thorough handling of all matters that come across his desk. Whether it’s a complex estate plan, a formal probate administration, or the formation of a business entity, Corey strives to exceed expectations of client service by personally overseeing and handling a client’s project or case from inception to completion. It is this personal approach that has allowed Corey to develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients.

Corey enjoys spending quality time with his family, traveling abroad, watching films, exercising (yoga), reading, and cooking.

Corey concentrates his legal practice solely in the areas of Business & Corporate Law; Wills, Trusts, & Estate Planning; Wealth Preservation; and Probate, Estate & Trust Administration.
